1. The Service

ShowUpShot lets event organisers publish a photo template that guests use to compose a branded image with their own photo. We provide the hosting, tooling, and delivery; you provide the template, brand assets, and event.

2. Account registration

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and be responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. Business accounts must be created by someone authorised to bind the organisation.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) upload content you do not have rights to; (b) collect photographs of individuals without their informed consent; (c) violate any law or third-party rights; (d) transmit malware, spam, or harass others; (e) attempt to bypass usage limits or reverse-engineer the Service; (f) resell or white-label the Service without a written agreement.

4. User content and licence

You retain ownership of the templates, logos, text, and photos you and your guests upload ("User Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt (for format and size), and deliver User Content solely to provide the Service. You represent and warrant that you have the rights and consents required to grant this licence.

Guests' portrait photos are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours of upload. Event templates and event configurations are retained until you delete them or close your account.

5. Fees, plans, and trials

Paid plans and the Basic 15-day free trial are billed via Stripe. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may be updated with 30 days' notice for existing subscribers. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, and trademarks, is our property or that of our licensors. Except for the limited licence to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or activity that risks the Service or third parties. You may terminate at any time via account settings. On termination, we may delete your data after a reasonable retention period as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
